I have been called a few other names that are not nice.
I left Hickam in Aug- 62. I helped my Mom & Dad drive across country.
We got to Galveston,Texas. It was fun driving on the beach in a car with Hawaiian plates. My Dad says to get a job or go to Waco with them. So I went into the Air Force Sept.-62. I got shipped to McGuire AFB, N.J. in Dec.-62. I got off the plane in a blizzard in Summer Blues !COLD!!!!
I was in the Air Police and stuck there. Got out Jun.-66. I took the next 5 years to have some fun. I burned up 4 cars ( none over $100) and worked in 5 States. I would just go till one the car or the money would give out. One time I pulled into Las Vegas with $25
and a car (sold for $50). I spent almost a year (Felt like 10), had to get out of there (it was killing me --- no sleep).
I was working in Houston,Tx when it hit me that I was coming on to 30 years old, if I wanted Kids (known) I should get at it. So in the next 6 years I made three mistakes. But that is OK. I got three kids one by each wife. #1-boy, #2-boy and #3-Girl. I worked as Surveyor(up to Party Chef), a few years in a Pipe-mill ( Q.C.&Rad.Of). I needed a job
that would last till my girl finish HS, so I am working at the High school as a Janitor and Fix it man. Well my girl is married now so I can get back to doing what I want. This time in a house boat. I am too old for sleeping on the dirt and I like to fish. Not long to S.S.
